Rockhampton Brahman Week Sale Team 2008
We are extremely happy with our draft of 7 red bulls to mark our 25th anniversary of breeding registered Brahman cattle. The draft selling Wednesday 8th October starting at lot 908 to lot 914. This year's sale team is led by Ooline Magnus 208 a long smooth well muscled son of Tartrus Camelot 4540 out of one of the stand out cow's in the herd who at 8 years of age will have her 6th calf at foot shortly. This fertility performance is the hallmark of the Ooline cows which are required to rear a calf every year without supplementation. Lot 909 Ooline Vulcan 191 an outstanding polled bull follows , his dam is 9 years and is pregnant with her 8th calf. All bulls have been genestar tested, muscle scanned and semen tested. Inspections prior to sale are always welcomed.

Since purchasing Mahala we have mated her with NCC Kwai in an IVF program and more recently to NCC springbok. Mahala is an extremely fertile donor, producing good numbers of high quality eggs. Mahala has settled well into our herd holding her condition in these adverse weather conditions. She has a lovely nature with great bone and fleshing while maintaining her femininity.
